Tanto Freud como Lacan dan un lugar preponderante y estructural a la noción de trauma. Ahora bien, ¿cómo pensar sus modalidades de inscripción, sus marcas en el sujeto? Para trabajar este tema nos preguntarnos entonces qué articulaciones podrían establecerse entre el trauma, sus marcas y el carácter. En virtud de dicho planteo es que proponemos un breve recorrido por la noción de trauma en Freud y su relación a las marcas que contribuyen a la formación del carácter.Asimismo, tomamos algunas referencias en Lacan que nos permiten interrogar la relación entre las marcas y la constitución subjetiva. Finalmente, a partir de lo trabajado precedentemente, situamos algunas conclusiones sobre la inscripción del trauma como estructurante de la subjetividad. Palabras clave Marca, Carácter, Trauma, Estructura ABSTRACT ABOUT THE TRAUMA AND ITS MARKS Both Freud and Lacan give the notion of trauma a central and structural role. Now, how is it possible to think about its inscription modes and its marks onto the subject? In order to work on this issue, we wondered what links could be established among trauma, its marks, and the character. In light of this, we propose a brief overview of Freud’s notion of trauma and its relation to the marks that contribute to the formation of the character.We also use some references in Lacan’s works, which allow us to interrogate the relationship between marks and the subjective constitution. Finally, we draw some conclusions about the inscription of trauma as constitutive of subjectivity. Key words Mark, Character, Trauma, Structure
