A partir de hacer del Otro un conjunto vacío, Lacan enuncia los discursos que funcionan en la escena analítica. Pero las resonancias del vaciamiento del A recién surgirán a partir de establecer las fórmulas de la cuantificación, en tanto éstas deben ser leídas como la escritura de ‘la realidad sexual del inconsciente’ para el discurso analítico. Analizamos entonces estas fórmulas en función de esclarecer qué lugar adquiere cada uno de los cuantificadores en relación a las nociones de infinitos y límite que Lacan extrae de la teoría de los conjuntos. Ubicamos, a la vez, las consecuencias de los diferentes niveles de la función lógica de la negación en función del lugar que ocupe. Indicamos el pasaje que Lacan produce en referencia del ‘existe Uno’ al ‘hay Uno’, que escribe como ‘Yadl’Un’ y como modo de nombrar un S1 único por fuera del conjunto. Un Uno único, que vale como falta y que conmina al equívoco. Y en consecuencia, señalamos la importancia de diferenciar este S1 -que queda por fuera del conjunto- del S1 de la repetición.
