Este trabajo se inserta en el marco del Proyecto de Investigación UBACyT:“Variaciones de la afectación del cuerpo en el ser hablante: del trauma de lalengua a las respuestas subjetivas” dirigida por Luján Iuale. La afectación del cuerpo ha sido un interrogante que comenzamos a desarrollar a partir de la clínica misma. El cuerpo en Psicoanálisis no se confunde con el organismo que lo soporta. Es un efecto de la incidencia de lalengua en el viviente. Superficie imaginaria unificada en el espejo por la mediación del Otro simbólico, es también sede de la pulsión y asiento del síntoma. Toda la cuestión se dirime en torno a cómo logra el ser hablante tener un cuerpo, es decir cómo logra subjetivarlo. En esta ocasión, un caso nos invita a pensar cómo se ve afectado el cuerpo no sólo por la vía del síntoma sino también en su dimensión especular.
