El interrogante que ha motorizado este breve escrito es ¿cómo sostener el diálogo del psicoanálisis con la ciencia sin que este tenga un efecto de falla?, ese mismo efecto de falla que tuvo el progreso de la ciencia sobre la medicina, según señala Lacan en su ponencia de 1966 en el Colegio de Medicina. Tomaré esa intervención de Lacan a modo de guía en el recorrido que haré aquí respecto de las relaciones entre el psicoanálisis y la ciencia. En esta oportunidad revisaré algunos hitos en la obra freudiana y me detendré en dos conceptos que Lacan aborda en dicho texto: el sujeto de la ciencia y la praxis analítica. ¿Cómo podría habitar, entonces, el psicoanalista su lugar en el concierto de la ciencia, sin por eso convertirse en un hombre que sirve a los intereses del mundo científico? Quizás las particularidades que tiene el modo en que los psicoanalistas participamos de la investigación pueda arrojar alguna claridad a esta cuestión. Palabras clave Freud, Lacan, Psicoanálisis, Ciencia, Investigación ABSTRACT TOWARDS A POSSIBLE DIALOGUE BETWEEN PSYCHOANALYSIS AND SCIENCE The question that has motivated this brief paper is how to support the dialogue of psychoanalysis with science without it having an effect of failure, the same effect of failure that had the progress of science on medicine, as Lacan points out in his intervention in the College of Medicine in 1966. I will take this intervention of Lacan as a guide in the review that I will do here regarding the relations between psychoanalysis and science. This time I will review some milestones in the Freudian work and I will focus on two concepts that Lacan approaches in this text: the subject of science and the analytical praxis. How, then, could the psychoanalyst dwell in the concert of science, without thereby becoming a man who serves the interests of the scientific world? Perhaps the particularities of the way in which psychoanalysts participate in the research may shed some light on this question. Key words Freud, Lacan, Psychoanalysis, Science, Research
