Este trabajo se enmarca en la investigación “LA URGENCIA EN SALUD MENTAL EN EL HOSPITAL PÚBLICO EN LA CIUDAD DE BUENOS AIRES” dirigida por la Dra. Inés Sotelo (Ubacyt 2014-2017). Es el propósito de esta investigación extender los resultados de la investigación UBACyT 2008-2010 “ANÁLISIS COMPARATIVO DE LA DEMANDA E INTERVENCIONES EN LA URGENCIA EN SALUD MENTAL” a una muestra anclada en hospitales de Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. El objetivo es describir las características de la demanda en urgencia así como el modo de intervención y resolución de la misma. En el presente trabajo realizaremos una revisión del concepto de elaboración psíquica y su incidencia en el tratamiento de la urgencia subjetiva. Dichos términos se encuentran en oposición lógica: la apertura de la elaboración psíquica posibilita la salida de la urgencia. La elaboración se relaciona con conceptos como resistencia, transferencia e interpretación en las primeras lecturas de Lacan acerca de estos conceptos freudianos. También nos referiremos a la noción de presencia del analista para interrogar de qué modo puede dar lugar a un trabajo de elaboración que incida en el padecimiento que lleva a la consulta diferenciándolo de efectos de sugestión. The following paper is framed within the research project “Mental health urgency in the public hospital in the City of Buenos Aires” directed by Dra. Inés Sotelo (UBACyT 2014-2017).The purpose of this investigation is to extend the results of the previous investigation UBACyT 2008-2010 to a sample restricted to hospitals within the City of Buenos Aires. Its objective is to characterise the population in emergency consultation as well as the intervention and resolution in hospitals in said city. The main objective is the description, from the psychoanalytic perspective, of the possible subjective movement within the emergency and the interventions that could facilitate it; to that effect, this work will be centered on the concept of psychic work and its importance in the treatment of subjective urgency. Said terms are opposed by logic: the beginning of psychic work enables the solution of the urgency. The psychic work is related to concepts such as resistance, transference and interpretation, around the first works of Lacan on Freud’s theory. Furthermore, we will develop the concept of the analyst’s presence in order to interrogate how it can enable psychic work that affects the patient’s suffering, as to differentiate it from the effects of suggestion.
