Asistimos hoy a lo que J.A Miller, y E. Laurent han llamado la época del Otro que no existe, en la que habita un empuje al todo en la cultura como imperativo de goce, correlativo a la caída del Nombre del Padre. Esta caída produce la declinación de la dimensión de la metáfora en la cultura y sus efectos. Uno de los efectos que observamos es la pregnancia de la literalidad en el campo social, como así también su incidencia en las posiciones subjetivas. Tomaremos del conjunto de estas incidencias las nuevas manifestaciones subjetivas de la sexualidad, que se expresan en una extensa variedad de nominaciones de género, bajo la forma de identidad. Cuando Freud produce la doctrina psicoanalítica el padre funciona como nudo en la civilización. Lacan en Nota sobre el padre, sitúa que el contexto específico respecto del padre, afecta las estructuras más profundas, plantea la época de la evaporación del padre y su cicatriz la segregación. Esta evaporación del padre no remite al padre muerto de Tótem y Tabú, ya de lo que allí se trata es de una incorporación, de un símbolo y de una garantía, elementos debilitados en nuestra época. Laurent have called the time of the Other that does not exist, in which there dwells a thrust to the whole in the culture as an imperative of enjoyment that is correlative to the decline of the Name of the Father. Consequently, and as a correlate, is presented the scientific technological discourse that watches over the symptomatology and inhibits the unfolding of the resources of the subject in front of the drive. On the other hand, this fall of the Name of the Father produces the decline of the dimension of the metaphor in the culture along with a range of effects in the subjectivity of the time. One of the effects we observe is the pregnancy of literality in the social field, as well as its incidence in the subjective positions. We will take from the set of these incidences the new subjective manifestations of sexuality, which are expressed in a wide variety of gender nominations, in the form of identity.
