En el presente escrito se retoman los planteos existentes sobre las diversas problemáticas en la comunicación en el caso de niños sordos y padres oyentes. Es a partir de allí que nos proponemos pensar la impulsividad como una de sus consecuencias. En principio, se desarrollará el momento de diagnóstico del niño sordo junto con el duelo que los padres deben realizar, considerando cómo repercute el mismo en el niño. Se sostiene asimismo una discusión en torno a la materialidad del lenguaje, que resulta provechosa por fuera del campo específico de la sordera. Se abordará, finalmente, la problemática de la impulsividad del niño sordo como un intento fallido de comunicarse, proponiendo la hipótesis de que puede ser leída en términos de acting out. Palabras clave Subjetividad, Sordera, Significante, Materialidad ABSTRACT DISABILITY AND DEAFNESS In the present paper, the existing questions on the various issues in communication are discussed in the case of deaf children and hearing parents. It is from there that we can think of impulsiveness as one of its consequences. At first we will adress the time of diagnosis of deaf children along with the grief that parents should make, considering how it affects the child.A discussion is also held on the materiality of language, which is useful outside the specific field of deafness. Finally, the problem of the impulsiveness of the deaf child will be approached as an unsuccessful attempt to communicate, proposing the hypothesis that it can be read in terms of acting out.
