La atención de la salud integral centrada en la persona es la modalidad de trabajo de los Cuidados Paliativos (CP). Los equipos de CP no pueden cubrir por sí solos las necesidades de sus pacientes. La familia y la red de apoyo juegan un papel crucial. Existen además del “cuidador principal”, quien interviene en los principales cuidados del enfermo, otras redes de cuidado que no se limitan al ámbito sanitario, son dinámicas y contienen actores, saberes y prácticas que precisan ser estudiadas con una metodología cualitativa capaz de recuperar sus trayectorias, como lo es la cartografía social. Objetivos: 1. identificar la red de cuidados de personas con enfermedad oncológica avanzada asistidas por CP; 2. trazar una cartografía social del cuidado. Los mapeos realizados por unidades de tratamiento del equipo de Cuidados Paliativos del Inst. Lanari, dan cuenta de algunos recursos y elementos que conforman la red de cuidados, que permiten ampliar el rol de cuidados más allá del cuidador principal. The mappings carried out by the treatment units of the Lanari ´s Institute Palliative Care team show some of the resources and elements that make up the care network, which allow the care role to be broadened beyond the main caregiver.
