Este reporte trata sobre dos investigaciones realizadas durante los años 2014-2015 y 2016-2017 que consistieron en un estudio de caso sobre situaciones de violencia(s) y/o muerte(s) que involucran a Jóvenes en un barrio -que se nombrará aquí como “Bº M.A.”- de la ciudad de Córdoba, Argentina. Durante el año 2013 se realizó un relevamiento mediático donde se observó la permanencia de noticias que referían a muertes violentas en Bº M.A. La difusión de las mismas impactó fuertemente en los discursos y sentimientos de los habitantes del barrio. Por ende, el caso se construyó no sólo considerando la agenda de la prensa gráfica, sino también, se relevaron discursos de la comunidad de Bº M.A., a través de entrevistas. El estudio, de corte cualitativo, adoptó un diseño metodológico de estudio de caso empírico y resguardando la flexiblidad del diseño. Para el análisis de noticias y entrevistas se utilizó las herramientas del análisis del discurso. Entre los principales resultados identificamos una violencia específica que denominamos “abuso mediático” y que caracteriza por recurrir a la estigmatización y desvalorización, produciendo fragmentación en los vínculos sociales. Opera a través del discurso informativo de los medios de comunicación y dificulta el lazo social. Palabras clave Abuso mediático, Jóvenes, Lazo social, Estudio de caso ABSTRACT MEDIA ABUSE AND POTENTIAL CREATION OF THE SOCIAL BONDS This report is about two SECyT research projects, carried out during the years 2014-2015 and 2016-2017 , was based on a case study on situations of violence (s) and/or death (s) involving young Barrio M. A. neighborhood of the city of Córdoba, Argentina. During the year 2013 was a survey of media, where it was observed the permanence of news referring to violent deaths in Bº M A. The dissemination of them impacted strongly in speeches and feelings of the inhabitants of the district. Therefore, the case was built not only considering the agenda of the graphic press, but also, Bº M.A. Community speeches, be relieved through interviews. Is a qualitative study that adopted an empirical case study methodological design, safeguarding the flexibility of design. The tool of discourse analysis was used for the analysis of news and interviews. Identify a specific violence that we call “media abuse”. It is characterized by resorting to the stigmatization and devaluation, causing fragmentation in social links.
