El presente trabajo complementa una investigación realizada entre mayo y noviembre de 2016, en el cual se delineó el perfil del paciente que concurre a la Comunidad Terapéutica El Edén, de Concepción del Uruguay, Entre Ríos. En dicha investigación, que fue declarada de Interés Municipal, y expuesta en el Congreso de APSA de este año, se adjuntó un anexo donde se registraron abandonos y recaídas de los pacientes, según el tiempo de tratamiento transcurrido, y la fase consecuente en la cual se encontraban al momento del evento. En el mes de diciembre de 2016 la Fundación mudó su estructura desde un espacio físico de 300 metros cuadrados a uno de 3 hectáreas y media. Este movimiento trajo aparejado un enorme cambio de variados tenores ( mayor cantidad y riqueza de actividades de reinserción, entre otras) en la dinámica diaria de los procesos terapéuticos. En este trabajo relevaremos los abandonos y recaídas producidos en el nuevo espacio. A su vez, indagaremos profundamente a los pacientes que han conocido ambos contextos, con el objetivo de conocer la valoración que realizan respecto al nuevo ámbito donde desarrollan sus tratamientos, y observar si esta evaluación es coherente con la variación en los porcentajes de recaídas y abandonos. Palabras clave Adicciones, Recaídas, Abandonos, Espacio Físico ABSTRACT INFLUENCE OF PHYSICAL SPACE EXTENTION ON DESERTION AND RELAPSE DURING ADDICTION TREATMENTS The following paper is accessory to an investigation carried through between May and November 2016 in which the profile of the patient attending the Comunidad Terapéutica El Edén, in Concepción del Uruguay, Entre Ríos is established. The aforementioned investigation was declared as Municipal Interest and presented before the Argentine Congress of Psychiatry. It included an attachment where all the desertions and relapses were registered according to how long the patients were under treatment and the phase they were in at the time of the event. On December 2016 the Foundation relocated its structure from a physical 300 square meters to a 3 and a half hectares space. This relocation brought along several changes (more quantity and variety of reintegration activities, among others) to the daily dynamic of the therapeutical processes. In this paper we will state the desertion and relapses that occurred in the new space. At the same time, we will analyse the patients who have known both environments in the hopes to recognise their assessment of the new premises where they continue their treatments, and observe if this assessment coincides with the variations in the desertion and relapse percentages.
