El presente trabajo expondrá los resultados de una transferencia realizada para entrenar voluntarios rescatistas pertenecientes a organizaciones encargadas de la respuesta a situaciones de catástrofe, basada en un protocolo modificado de Primera Ayuda Psicológica (PAP) para aplicar a las víctimas en las fases tempranas de un desastre.Asimismo,se analizará la relación entre el estilo decisorio y la efectividad en la toma de decisiones en situaciones de crisis. Se realizaron cinco capacitaciones -115 voluntarios- en los cuarteles de Bomberos Voluntarios de Berazategui, Sarandí, San Martín, La Boca y una sede de la Cruz Roja del partido de Tigre. La capacitación constaba de dos aspectos fundamentales: a) conocimientos acerca del funcionamiento del cerebro en situación de estrés y b) desarrollo el protocolo de PAP. El efecto de la capacitación en PAP sobre la efectividad en la toma de decisiones de los voluntarios fue evaluada posteriormente a través de la aplicación de un software (SIPAPSI).La comparación del grupo capacitado con otro sin entrenamiento evidenció la eficacia de la capacitación impartida.Asimismo, se evaluó el estilo decisorio de los voluntarios y se estudió su asociación con el número de respuestas correctas al SIPAPSI.Se encontró una asociación inversa y significativa entre estilo decisorio afectivo y el número de respuestas correctas en el SIPAPSI en el grupo capacitado. Likewise, the relationship between decision -making style and effectiveness in decision- making in crisis situations will be analyzed. Five trainings were carried out - 115 volunteers - in the volunteer fire brigades of Berazategui, Sarandí, San Martín, La Boca and the headquarters of the Red Cross of the Tigre Party. The training consisted of two fundamental aspects: a) knowledge about the functioning of the brain in a situation of stress and b) development of the FPA protocol. The effect of FPA training on the effectiveness of volunteer decision-making was subsequently evaluated through the application of software (SIPAPSI). The comparison of the trained group with another without training evidenced the effectiveness of the training imparted. Likewise, the decisionmaking style of the volunteers was evaluated and their association with the number of correct responses to SIPAPSI was studied. We found an inverse and significant association between affective decision -making style and the number of correct answers in SIPAPSI in the trained group.
