Al abordar la temática de la violencia se presentan dificultades de orden ético y conceptual: ¿como establecer una definición de la violencia sin caer en posiciones etnocéntricas o en herrumbradas distinciones entre lo normal y lo patológico?; ¿es posible establecer la determinación subjetiva del fenómeno sin caer en un terrorismo de la responsabilidad, o en su defecto, esta el sujeto condenado a desparecer a consecuencia de las violencias ejercidas desde las nebulosas interpretaciones casualistas? Existe también el riesgo de limitarse a contemplar los fenómenos desde un punto de vista descriptivo, definiendo así tipos y modalidades observables de violencia pero encontrando serios obstáculos al momento de dar cuenta de la función particular que esta cobra en cada individuo, como de su inserción o confrontación con las modalidades de violencia hegemónicamente establecidas en un determinado conjunto social. Desde la perspectiva psicoanalítica tenemos la posibilidad de sortear estas dificultades abordando la lógica misma desde donde se producen tales “actos” de violencia. Para ello se abordan aquí las denominadas “patologías del acto”, las que aunque con una designación desafortunada, enseñan en su lógica algo mas acerca de las posibles respuestas del sujeto al afecto de la angustia. Palabras clave Violencia, Agresividad, Patologias del Acto, Angustia, Inhibicion, Acting Out, Pasaje al Acto ABSTRACT AN APPROACH TO PSYCHOANALYTIC DISTINCTION BETWEEN VIOLENCE, AGGRESSIVENESS AND THE PATHOLOGIES OF THE ACT In addressing the issue of violence, there are difficulties of an ethical and conceptual nature: how to establish a definition of violence without falling into ethnocentric positions or rusting distinctions between normal and pathological? Is it possible to establish the subjective determination of the phenomenon without falling into a terrorism of responsibility or, failing that, is the subject doomed to disappear as a result of the violence exercised from nebulous casual interpretations? There is also the risk of being limited to contemplating the phenomena from a descriptive point of view, defining in this way types and observable modalities of violence but finding serious obstacles in the moment of accounting for the particular function that it charges in each individual, as of its insertion or Confrontation with the forms of violence hegemonically established in a certain social group. From the psychoanalytic perspective we have the possibility to overcome these difficulties by approaching the logic itself from where such “acts” of violence occur. To this end, the so-called “pathologies of the act” are addressed here, which, although with an unfortunate designation, teach in their logic something more about the subject’s possible responses to the affection of anguish.
