Situaremos la relación entre transferencia y repetición, específicamente en la vertiente resistencial de la misma, el caso en que el amor de transferencia irrumpe e interrumpe. La posición del analista como objeto de investiduras transferenciales no es sin efecto. Y el manejo de la transferencia (estrategia) resulta indispensable para el devenir de la cura. Estas ideas se articularan con el caso de la joven homosexual, ocasión en que el obstáculo lleva a la detención del tratamiento y hasta la derivación de la paciente. Consideramos pensar este historial a la luz del aumento de cuadros clínicos en los que predomina la angustia y sus diversas soluciones por vía de la acción, donde el padecimiento psíquico no se organiza por las vías de la formación del inconciente, sino por otras formas de presentación como mostraciones, pasajes al acto, inhibiciones generalizadas; con un predominio de lo pulsional que revela el fracaso de lo simbólico para anudar el malestar.
