En el siguiente trabajo mediante la presentación de un caso clínico y revisión bibliográfica, se intentará esbozar qué es la anorexia para el psicoanálisis, cuál es la posible dirección de la cura, puntualizando las dificultades que emergen en esta clínica, en sus maniobras por separarse del Otro. Asimismo se indagara sobre cuáles son las posibles estrategias del analista teniendo en cuenta que la pregunta asfixia, igual que la papilla y el uso de la interpretación podría producir el efecto de presentificar este Otro que no soporta la falta. Furthermore, possible analytical techniques will also be investigated, bearing in mind that these enquiries cause the patient to choke as much as the food given to them, and the use of interpretation may cause this Other, which cannot stand the blame, to be made tangible.
