El presente proyecto de investigación tiene por objetivo caracterizar las formas de presentación de la subjetividad contemporánea en la demanda de tratamiento en Salud Mental. La recepción de un pedido de tratamiento no se reduce a un acto clasificatorio de tipo diagnóstico o sintomático, ni a la evaluación de la presencia de fenómenos clínicos, sino que debe considerarse como una construcción que contempla una multiplicidad de dimensiones que se juegan en ese primer acercamiento. A partir del trabajo realizado por un equipo de profesionales en los hospitales J. T. Borda y Alvear, nos preguntamos cuáles son los rasgos propios de la subjetividad contemporánea que emergen y se observan en ese particular momento donde alguien se acerca a pedir ayuda. Realizaremos un diseño de investigación que intentará indagar las formas de presentación de la subjetividad contemporánea en la demanda de tratamiento. Los resultados de la investigación brindarán aportes para la praxis profesional reduciendo la probabilidad psicopatologizar rasgos de personalidad como consecuencia de confundir subjetividad con sujeto. Palabras clave Demanda, Contemporaneidad, Subjetividad, Presentación ABSTRACT CONTEMPORARY SUBJECTIVITY AND ITS WAYS OF INTRODUCING INTO A REQUEST FOR TREATMENT The present research project aims to characterize the presentation of contemporary subjectivity in the demand for treatment in Mental Health. When someone asks for treatment, the Psychologist not only classifies the diagnosis or the symptoms, nor tests if there are clinical manifestations, but also considers the presentation as a construction from multiple dimensions that develop. Considering the work realized by an equipment of professionals at Hospital Borda and Hospital Alvear, we wonder about the specific characteristics of the contemporary subjectivity developed at the particular moment of the first asking for help. Such characteristics will be studied, conceptualized and considered as a particular dimension of the current subjectivity by an accurate methodology of investigation, even when they participate and go through the clinical area. We will design an investigation that will try to inquire into the contemporary subjectivity and its ways of introducing into a request for treatment. The results of the investigation will give important contributions to mentioned hospitals, to the professional practice and also to the recovery of consultants, as it will reduce the mistake of considering characteristics of personality as a psychopathology due to the misunderstanding between the concepts of subjectivity and subject.
