La resolución curativa del hombre de las ratas leída desde la última enseñanza de Lacan la pensamos en la perspectiva del síntoma como funcionamiento; en su función de anudamiento. Es decir, como la respuesta que el sujeto encuentra frente a la no relación. La resolución curativa da cuenta del anudamiento por la vía del síntoma y no por la vía del sinthome; ya que está sostenida en la coextensividad entre síntoma y fantasma. El sinthome implica una operación de vaciamiento que pone límite a esa coextensividad. Nos preguntamos si cuando Lacan ubica al analista como aquel que “molesta la defensa” sigue la huella freudiana de la ventajosa alteración del yo en Esquema de psicoanálisis. Se trata de operación freudiana sobre los infantilismos que se repiten como modos habituales de reacción y que encuentran su fundamento en el mecanismo de la represión primaria. Nos interesa interrogar si la anticipación en estado práctico de esta operación la podemos encontrar en la construcción que Freud hace al hombre de las ratas y de la que se produce la frase “serás un gran hombre o un criminal”.
