La propuesta de este trabajo es abordar el interrogante formulado por Judith Butler en su texto Insubordinación e imitación de género (1993) respecto de aquello que queda permanentemente oculto por el acto lingüístico de una transparente revelación de la sexualidad. Nos proponemos poner en tensión la noción de identidad sexual con la de identificación, propia de la teoría psicoanalítica, a fin de ubicar aquello que se oculta detrás del tope invariable que representa la auto-afirmación de cualquier identidad. Palabras clave Identidad, Identificación, Gay, Sexualidad Abstract REFLECTIONS ON IDENTIFICATION AND SEXUAL IDENITITES The aim of the present work is to give attention to the question that Judith Butler brings up in her text, Imitation and Gender Insubordination (1993), regarding what remains permanently hidden due to the linguistic act of a transparent sexuality revelation. We propose to put a strain between the notion of identification, belonging to the psychoanalysis theory, and the sexual and identity one, in order to focus on what remains hidden behind the unchanging limit of a self-assertion of an identity.
