S. Freud anticipa en el “Proyecto” una topología de la subjetividad que implica al organismo transformado por el discurso. El cuerpo erógeno se constituye atravesado por el lenguaje. La pulsión como eco de un decir en el cuerpo supone un tiempo fundacional en el cual se entrelazan tempranamente voz y mirada, aún antes del espejo. “Necesito pantalla” insiste en el decir de un niño y es esta formulación la que guía este recorrido intentando cercar esta demanda de análisis. El objeto a, en la fundación del sujeto en su relación con el Otro, cumple la función de corte, tripa causal que se pierde. El deseo humano supone la mediación de la imagen, tanto con el yo como con el fantasma, siendo el puente entre ambos el objeto. La imagen quedará ligada a la visión, siendo diferente al goce escópico que sostiene la mirada. Habrá una presencia inasible en el nivel de la visión, pues lo invisible comanda lo visible y esto implica el anudamiento de lo imaginario al cuerpo y al goce. La pantalla será lo que se interpone entre el sujeto y el mundo, y en ella el sujeto pintará algo velando un vacío.
