Las coordenadas epocales actuales, signadas por la caída de las interdicciones y el ocaso del orden simbólico, evidencian un progresivo debilitamiento del lazo social. El individualismo, la segregación se imponen modelando nuevos modos de vinculación con el otro, modos que encuentran, en la violencia y sus vestiduras, vías regias de expresión. Estas mutaciones resultan particularmente visibles en las relaciones amorosas donde se advierte la progresiva instauración de una pareja-síntoma en la cual, la operancia del odioamoramiento parece ser el signo distintivo. El estrago femenino (del sujeto en posición femenina), ya sea bajo la forma del maltrato físico, psicológico, o las formas más larvadas y sutiles como la servidumbre, la esclavitud o la humillación constituyen una constante disruptiva en la homogeneidad social actual. Es en el traspaso del amor al odio, patentizado en el estrago y que puede conducir incluso a la muerte de uno de los partenaires, que se evidencia la extrema proximidad entre la pasión amorosa y el odio. Ahora bien, ¿por qué en estas relaciones asoladoras, en estas parejas-estrago el odio suplanta al amor? ¿Cómo opera este deslizamiento que acaba en el estrago femenino bajo el modo del feminicidio? son algunos de los interrogantes que guían este escrito.
