El presente trabajo forma parte del realizado en el marco del proyecto de investigación Dilemas éticos en la práctica psicológica: el diálogo con otros discursos disciplinares en contextos institucionales diversos. Estudio exploratorio descriptivo en base a una investigación cuali-cuantitativa (Proyecto UBACyT 2012-2015. Dir. Prof. Gabriela Z. Salomone). Nos proponemos analizar algunos dilemas éticos para el profesional psicólogo cuando su práctica se desarrolla en un contexto institucional. A partir de una viñeta, indagaremos acerca de la función del psicólogo en tales contextos y problematizaremos la cuestión del asistencialismo, en especial articulación con el campo de la responsabilidad subjetiva. Para ello, intentaremos abordar la situación con dos operadores conceptuales del marco teórico de la investigación: “rol” y “función”, reservando este último para aquello que configura lo más propio de la profesión del psicólogo.Además, intentaremos profundizar acerca de las posibilidades de la emergencia subjetiva para quienes concurren a la institución -tomando la noción de sujeto que propone el psicoanálisis con Lacan -sujeto efecto del inconciente, que se produce en acto- cuando aquella se ve amenazada por propuestas asistencialistas de parte del Estado y sus instituciones, discurso que -si sólo se reduce a subsidiar económicamente- elude el campo de la responsabilidad subjetiva. Descriptive exploratory study on the basis of a quali-quantitative investigation (UBACyT 2012-2015, Director: Prof. Gabriela Z. Salomone). We propose to analyze some of the ethical dilemmas for the psychologists when their practice takes place within an institutional context. We will consider a situation to investigate the function of the psychologists in that contexts as well as interrogate the matter of welfarism, especially in articulation with the field of subjective responsibility. Therefore, we will try to analyze this situation using two conceptual tools taken from the theoretical frame of the research Project:“role” and “function”.The function is that what constitutes the most specific thing of our profession. Besides, we will investigate the possibilities for the emergence of the subjectivity, within the frame that the psychoanalysis with Lacan proposes -the subject as an effect of the unconscious, the subject that is produced- when that is threatened by the welfarism from the State as well as its institutions. If this course of action is only reduced to providing financial aid, it avoids from the emergence of the subjective responsibility. Key words Ethics, Insitutions, Subject, Responsibility, Welfarism
