El objetivo principal de esta ponencia será indagar la serie de eventos que llevaron a la fundación de la Escuela Freudiana de Buenos Aires, primera institución lacaniana por fuera del territorio francés. En primera instancia se retomarán algunas indagaciones previas respecto de los primeros grupos de estudio sobre la obra de Lacan en Argentina, dirigidos por Oscar Masotta. Se hará referencia también a eventos y publicaciones que funcionaron como antecedentes directos de la fundación: la creación de los Cuadernos Sigmund Freud, la visita de Octave y Maud Mannoni a la Argentina y las “Jornadas Sigmund Freud”.A continuación, a partir de diversas fuentes bibliográficas y testimonios, se buscará dar cuentas de los motivos específicos que -según sus protagonistas- los llevaron a firmar el acta de fundación de la Escuela, el 28 de junio de 1974. Interesará particularmente situar esa fundación respecto del circuito instituido para la enseñanza del psicoanálisis y la formación de los psicoanalistas en Argentina. Para finalizar, se harán algunas referencias a la presentación de la Escuela que Oscar Masotta realizó el año siguiente en París, ante el propio Jacques Lacan. Palabras clave Historia, Psicoanálisis, Escuela Freudiana, Oscar Masotta Abstract ON THE FOUNDATION OF THE ESCUELA FREUDIANA DE BUENOS AIRES (1974) The main objective of this paper is to investigate the events that led to the founding of the Escuela Freudiana de Buenos Aires, the first lacanian institution outside french territory. First, we resume some preliminary inquiries regarding the first grupos de estudio on Lacan’s work in Argentina, led by Oscar Masotta. We will also refer to events and publications that were direct precedents of the foundation: the creation of the Cuadernos Sigmund Freud, the visit of Maud Octave Mannoni to Argentina and the “Jornadas Sigmund Freud”. Will seek to account for the specific reasons which, according to its protagonists-signing led them to the founding of the School, on June 28, 1974. Particularly interested in placing on the circuit that foundation established for the teaching of psychoanalysis and training of psychoanalysts in Argentina. Finally, some references will be made to the presentation of Escuela in Paris, to Jacques Lacan himself. Then, it will seek to explain the specific reasons, according to those involved, took them to sign the act of foundation of the Escuela. Will be of particular interest to locate that foundation in connection with the circuit established for the teaching of psychoanalysis and the training of psychoanalysts in Argentina.
