El presente trabajo se propone como objetivo, a partir de la creación del Patronato Nacional de Menores, dar cuenta de cuáles son las condiciones de producción de subjetividad que la promueven, tomando para ello como variable el contexto político y social que antecede y enmarca dicha creación. Se sostiene como hipótesis que el contexto político y social influye en el moldeamiento de la subjetividad e impulsa la creación de instituciones que verán reflejadas y contenidas en ellas la subjetividad de su época. Metodológicamente, se procederá a relevar fuentes primarias y secundarias de documentación que permitan encontrar una correlación entre los niños que son albergados por el Patronato Nacional de Menores y el papel que el contexto político y social juega como antecedente.
