La idea central de este trabajo es mostrar cómo, en el chiste, se destacan dos aspectos: por un lado el juego significante, en sus dimensiones metafórica y metonímica, dando lugar a la polivalencia y deslizamiento del sentido, propios de la estructura de la palabra. Y por el otro la dimensión de suspensión del sentido, de provocación al Otro, dimensión del paso (en francés “Pas”: no) de sentido, sorpresa y consecuentemente la risa del otro, por la cual el sujeto se ve recompensado y resulta el objetivo del chiste: procurarse placer. Búsqueda de recompensa que indica un intento de recuperación de un goce perdido de entrada en la constitución del sujeto, advenido “pegado” por el significante. Palabras clave Chiste Placer Recuperación Goce ABSTRACT THE “JOKE”, AN ATTEMPT RECOVERY OF ENJOYMENT The central idea of this paper is to show how there are two aspects in the joke: first, the signifier game in their metaphoric and metonymic dimensions, giving rise to the polyvalence and sense’s slide, characteristic of language structure. And, on the other hand, the dimension of suspension of meaning, of incitement to the Other, dimension of the passage (in French “Pas”: no) of meaning, surprise and consequently the laughter of the other, for which the subject is rewarded. It is the target of the joke: to procure pleasure.
