El encuentro entre el psicoanálisis y las toxicomanías es un encuentro reciente. Si bien tanto Freud como Lacan han hecho unas pocas referencias a las drogas, para ninguno de ellos fue ese un campo de interés. La clínica actual nos obliga a pensar la relevancia del psicoanálisis en el tratamiento de pacientes con este tipo de problemáticas. En el marco del proyecto de investigación “El dolor psíquico: Aspectos estructurales y fenoménicos” se realiza el intento de responder a algunas de las preguntas que surgen al acercarnos a este tema. Though both Freud and Lacan have made a few references to drugs, for none of them it was a field of interest. The current clinic forces us to think the relevancy of psychoanalysis in the treatment of patients with this type of problematic. In the frame of the project of investigation “ The psychic pain: structural and phenomenical aspects” we make the attempt of answering some of the questions that arise on having approached this topic.
