El proyecto de investigación “Las anticipaciones de futuro de Jóvenes en situación de vulnerabilidad Socioeducativa” se propone profundizar en el conocimiento de las trayectorias de los jóvenes pertenecientes a sectores vulnerables y en los sentidos que los mismos atribuyen a su realidad y a su futuro. Nos interesa comprender las relaciones entre las trayectorias de vida y el tipo de proyectos que construyen jóvenes en situación de vulnerabilidad socioeducativa. Indagamos de qué manera perciben el futuro, qué sentido le atribuyen y cómo se proyectan, considerando la incidencia de sus trayectorias familiares, sociales, laborales y educativas. En este artículo, nos proponemos ilustrar el proceso que realizó el equipo de investigación para el abordaje de este tema. Se considera que la metodología cualitativa resulta apropiada para acceder a los sentidos, significados y relaciones que se estructuran en función del tema estudiado. De este modo, presentamos los interrogantes que guían nuestra investigación, el diseño y construcción del instrumento a utilizar: la entrevista en profundidad. THE IN-DEPTH INTERVIEW AS A RESEARCH TOOL The research project “The anticipations of future of young people in a situation of socio-educational vulnerability” aims to deepen the knowledge of the pathways of young people who belong to a vulnerable sector; and the meanings that they attribute to their reality and future. We are interested in understanding the relationships between the pathways and the type of projects, young people in a situation of socio-educational vulnerability, build. We explore how they perceive the future, what senses they attribute to it, and how they project themselves, considering the impact of their family, social, occupational and educational paths. In this article, we intend to illustrate the process that the research team has done to approach the subject of interest. It is believed that qualitative methodology is appropriate to learn about the senses, meanings and relationships that are structured according to our issue.
