La investigación sobre el consumo de alcohol en jóvenes y adultos está ampliamente documentada. Sin embargo, el rastreo bibliográfico sobre el tema en la niñez permite constatar que es muy escasa la literatura existente sobre el tema. Sobre todo porque cuando se trata del consumo de alcohol en la niñez se debe enfrentar a diversas cuestiones que exceden al simple abordaje biológico o psicosocial de la problemática. Esto es particularmente cierto especialmente porque el consumo de alcohol (sustancia psicoactiva socialmente aceptada) está médicamente contraindicado y legalmente prohibido en la niñez y la adolescencia temprana. El presente trabajo pretende realizar una aproximación teórica a las distintas circunstancias en las que un niño se ve afectado por el alcohol. Sin pretender ser exhaustivo ni abarcar esta problemática en su totalidad, se ha realizado un rastreo bibliográfico a fin de realizar una caracterización de la problemática. However, bibliographical tracking about this theme in the childhood allow us to confirm that we are short of literature about this issue. Especially because when it is a question of the consumption of alcohol in the childhood it is necessary to face to diverse questions that surpass the simple physical and pshycosocial boarding of the problematics. This is particularly true especially because the alcohol consumption (socially accepted phycoactive substance) is medically contraindicated and legally forbidden for the childhood and early adolescence. The present paper expects to make a theoric approximation to the different circumstances in which a child meets affected by the alcohol without trying to include this problematics in its entirety.
