El presente trabajo se enmarca en la tesis en elaboración “Acerca del concepto de sublimación en la infancia. Creación y campo social” de la Maestría en Ciencias Sociales de la UNLP. En dicha tesis, se desarrolla la idea de que la primera investigación infantil surge del interrogante por sus orígenes y a partir de allí la configuración de condiciones de posibilidad para la actividad del pensamiento autónomo. Uno de los ejes para profundizar esta propuesta es trabajar con el texto “Un recuerdo infantil de Leonardo da Vinci” de Sigmund Freud (1910), considerando el valor epistemológico que toma una biografía como caso teórico y su relevancia para una conceptualización dentro de la teoría psicoanalítica de la sublimación como destino de la investigación sexual infantil.
