En el marco de la investigación “Freud y la eficacia del análisis”, aprobada por UBACyT para el período 2004-2007 analizaremos en el presente trabajo, aspectos relativos a la eficacia del análisis en el período comprendido entre 1886 y 1900. Ubicaremos dos líneas de abordaje que se corresponden con dos hipótesis; en primer lugar postulamos que en Freud la eficacia funciona como elemento articulador entre la labor de investigación y la cura, y en segundo término, que su concepción de eficacia excede los resultados terapéuticos desde el comienzo mismo de sus trabajos. Se ilustra la relación dialéctica entre investigación, elaboración teórica y cura. Freud traza un recorrido que, partiendo de la investigación, proporciona un método y, ante la eficacia de éste busca comprender los resortes de la misma avanzando de este modo en la producción de saber. La eficacia terapéutica obtenida no es un valor en sí sino que debe verse reflejada en una confirmación teórica que la avale. Palabras Clave FREUD - INVESTIGACIÓN - CURA - EFICACIA Abstract THE EFFICACY IN THE BEGINNING In the mark of the investigation “Freud and the efficacy of the analysis”, approved by UBACyT for the period 2004-2007 we will analyze work presently, relative aspects to the efficacy of the analysis in the period understood between 1886 and 1900. We will locate two boarding lines that belong together with two hypothesis; in the first place we postulate that in Freud the efficacy works as element articulated between the investigation work and the cure, and in second term that its conception of efficacy exceeds the therapeutic results from the same beginning of its works. The dialectical relationship is illustrated among investigation, theoretical elaboration and the cure. Freud traces a journey that, leaving of the investigation, it provides a method and, in the face of the efficacy of this search to understand the springs of the same one advancing this way in the production of knowing. The obtained therapeutic efficacy is not a value per se but rather should turns reflected in a theoretical confirmation that endorses it. Key words FREUD - INVESTIGATION - CURE - EFFICACY
