La formación y el desarrollo de los profesionales de la psicología requieren ser abordados desde las demandas sociales actuales. Los resultados de estado investigación permiten conocer los supuestos que se sostienen desde las cátedras de Psicología Clínica de las Universidades Nacionales para poder revisar la planificación curricular. Para conocer estos supuestos se analizaron cuanti y cualitativamente quince (15) programas correspondientes a las cátedras de Psicología Clínica de las Universidades Nacionales de: Buenos Aires, Córdoba, La Plata, Mar del Plata, Rosario, San Luis y Tucumán. Se tomaron como ejes de estudio las funciones del psicólogo clínico, los abordajes teóricos predominantes y las actividades prácticas del alumnado. La función predominante en los distintos programas, es la de tratamiento). En un segundo término la función diagnóstica, en tercer lugar prevención, y la función menos considerada es la de investigación. La orientación teórica predominante es la psicoanalítica.Alos fines de elaborar estas conclusiones, restringimos la extensión del concepto “formación práctica del alumnado”, a las prácticas realizadas por los alumnos en instituciones del medio en sus distintas variantes. Desde esta perspectiva de las quince cátedras, nueve mencionan prácticas institucionales. THEIR CURRICULAR IMPORTANCE. From the Class of Clinical Psychology of the U.N.C, the interest arises to know the state of the teaching of it, not only considering the academic value that it might presents, but to learn if it contributes to the formation of professionals that can respond to the current demands. With this purpose it were analyzed cuanti and qualitatively the 15 programs of Clinical Psychology corresponding to the careers of psychology of the state universities of: Buenos Aires, Córdoba, La Plata, Mar del Plata, Rosario, San Luis and Tucumán. The study axes were: the clinical psychologist’s functions, the theoretical approaches and the Practices of the students. The result show that the predominant function in the different programs is that of treatment, it is continued by the evaluations, the preventive one, and the fewer considered it is that of research. The predominant theoretical orientation is the psychoanalytical one. As for practical institutional only 9 of the 15 units mentioned, carry out some activity of this order. These data is considered of importance for the profile of students that we are training and for the purpose of curricular designs. Key words Teaching Clinical Psychology
