Este estudio es parte del programa de investigación sobre el Estilo Personal del Terapeuta (EPT) que desarrolla desde 1998 la Fundación Aiglé. El objetivo es obtener datos normativos del EPT-C para la población de la Argentina que permitan ampliar las características del constructo EPT. Se aplicó dicho instrumento a una nueva muestra de psicoterapeutas, N = 400, compuesta por las orientaciones psicoanalítica, cognitiva, sistémica, humanístico existencial e integrativa, correspondientes a las más representativas en el País. Se calcularon las propiedades psicométricas del EPT-C que evalúa las 5 funciones que componen dicho constructo en una nueva muestra de Argentina. Se realizó un Cluster Analysis para identificar los agrupamientos naturales -perfiles- surgidos de los datos. Se obtuvieron medidas de tendencia central y dispersión. Se calcularon losAlpha de Cronbach para cada función y se realizó un análisis factorial de componentes principales. Se obtendrán perfiles paradigmáticos de cada una de las orientaciones teóricas, que se compararán con los agrupamientos surgidos del ClusterAnalysis. Los resultados permitirán someter a prueba la validez teórica del instrumento e interpretar los datos en relación con aspectos conceptuales de cada uno de los modelos teóricos que componen la muestra. Se propondrán nuevas líneas de investigación. Palabras Clave estilo personal del terapeuta Abstract NORMALIZATION OF THE ASSESSMENT QUESTIONNAIRE ON THE PERSONAL STYLE OF THE THERAPIST (PST-Q) IN A POPULATION OF ARGENTINIAN PSYCHOTHERAPISTS This study is part of the research programme on the personal style of the therapist (PST) which is developed at Aigle Foundation since 1998. The aim is to obtain normative data of the PST Q for Argentinian population that allow us to expand the characteristics of the PST construct. The PST-Q was applied to a psychotherapist sample of N= 400, which was composed of psychoanalytic, cognitive, systemic, humanistic-existential and integrative orientations, that correspond to the most representative orientations in the country. Psychometric properties of the instrument -PST Q- that assesses the construct were calculated through its five functions in a new sample. A Cluster Analysis was carried out in order to identify the spontaneous groupings of the profiles. Descriptive statistics measures were obtained for this population. Cronbach´ alpha coefficients were calculated for each function and a factor analysis of principal components was applied. Paradigmatic profiles were obtained for each one of the theoretical orientations. These profiles were compared with the groupings emerged from Cluster Analysis. The obtained results allow to validate the composition of the instrument and to interpret data in relation to the conceptual aspects of each one of the theoretical models.
