En la investigación UBACyT sobre fenómenos psicosomáticos dirigida por la Dra. Liliana Szapiro, se pone el énfasis en el modo en que dichas afecciones se vinculan con un anudamiento precario de la estructura, hallándose una severa falla de la función paterna y un lugar privilegiado de la madre en el discurso del sujeto. En el presente trabajo, se ejemplificará el modo en que dichos conceptos se articulan con la práctica psicoanalítica y las vicisitudes con las que nos encontramos cuando nuestro quehacer como analistas no sólo implica la escucha de los pacientes sino también la de sus padres. Los niños y adolescentes que padecen afecciones psicosomáticas llegan a la consulta acompañados por uno o ambos padres, a menudo -no exclusivamentepor derivación de pediatras, dermatólogos, neumonólogos, etc. De este modo, las entrevistas con los padres serán un desafío para el analista, ya que el entrecruzamiento entre lo anímico y lo somático será un enigma para ellos. Será nuestro trabajo, entonces, alojar tanto a ese niño o adolescente que padece asma, psoriasis, diabetes, etc, como las incertidumbres y preocupaciones de sus padres. In the present work, it will be exemplified the way in which these concepts are articulated with the psychoanalytic practice and the vicissitudes that we encounter when our work as analysts implies not only listening to patients but also to their parents. The children and adolescents suffering from psychosomatic disorders come to the consultation accompanied by one or both parents, frequently -not exclusively- referred by paediatricians, dermatologists, pneumonologists, etc. Thus, the interviews with the parents will be a challenge for the analyst, since the intertwining of the psychic and the somatic will be an enigma for them. It will be our task, then, to support both the child or adolescent who suffers from asthma, psoriasis, diabetes, etc, and the uncertainties and worries of their parents.
