El presente texto, enmarcado en el proyecto UBACyT “Delimitación de la noción de horror al saber y sus manifestaciones clínicas”, tiene como objetivo realizar una revisión bibliográfica en los escritos de Jacques Lacan respecto al horror al saber. Nos fue posible extraer cuatro categorías relacionadas a esta noción: 1) síntoma: en tanto ser del sujeto como ser de verdad que se sirve del saber textual concerniente al goce, en sus límites con la debilidad del sentido que desfallece como velo ante lo real que avanza sobre lo simbólico; 2) verdad: al tener a la palabra como medio para irrumpir, suscita el horror por su vinculación a lo real; 3) rechazo: por el desdén de la marca del significante en el cuerpo del ser hablante, así como de los discursos como tramitación y desconocimiento del goce; y 4) fin de análisis: articulado a la destitución subjetiva y a cernir el objeto que se ha sido para el Otro. Palabras clave Horror al saber - Síntoma - Verdad - Rechazo - Fin de análisis ABSTRACT THE HORROR OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE WRITINGS OF JACQUES LACAN The present text, framed within the UBACyT project “Delimitation of the notion of horror of knowledge and its clinical manifestations”, aims to carry out a bibliographical review of Jacques Lacan’s writings regarding the horror of knowledge. We were able to extract four categories related to this notion: 1) symptom: as the subject as a being of truth that uses textual knowledge concerning enjoyment, in its limits with the weakness of meaning that fails as a veil before the real that advances over the symbolic; 2) truth: having the word as a means to break in, it arouses horror due to its connection to the real; 3) rejection: due to the disdain of the mark of the signifier on the body of the speaking being, as well as of discourses as processing and ignorance of enjoyment; and 4) end of analysis: linked to subjective dismissal and to sifting out the object that has been for the Other.
