El presente trabajo se enmarca en la etapa inicial del proyecto de investigación correspondiente a la programación científica UBACyT 2023 titulado “Delimitación de la noción de horror al saber y sus manifestaciones clínicas”. Nos proponemos avanzar en las líneas de investigación abiertas a partir de la pregunta por la importancia del saber inconsciente al cual se accede por medio del tratamiento psicoanalítico y sus efectos clínicos. Freud ubica ese resultado sobre el saber como una ganancia sobre el terreno de la enfermedad y sus manifestaciones más comunes: la inhibición, el síntoma y la angustia. Asimismo, señala también una posición de paradójica aversión y satisfacción (horror) respecto de la emergencia de un saber, ignorado. Sabemos que la propuesta terapéutica que Freud empleó como herramienta clínica principal, radicó en el manejo de la transferencia. Ponemos entonces en consideración fragmentos de un tratamiento llevado a cabo en el Servicio de Atención Clínica de Adultos en Avellaneda, dependiente de la Cátedra de Clínica de Adultos 1 de la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Allí esperamos poder ubicar la emergencia de saber y sus posibles sus efectos terapéuticos en el camino de la elucidación del deseo inconsciente. Palabras clave Saber - Neurosis - Clínica - Transferencia ABSTRACT CONSIDERATIONS ABOUT THE EMERGENCE OF KNOWLEDGE IN A PSYCHOANALYTIC TREATMENT OF NEUROSIS The present work is framed within the initial stage of the research project corresponding to the UBACyT 2023 scientific programming, titled “Delimitation of the Notion of Horror of Knowing and its Clinical Manifestations.” We aim to advance along the lines of research opened by the question of the importance of unconscious knowledge, accessed through psychoanalytic treatment, and its clinical effects. Freud situates this outcome on knowledge as a gain in the field of illness and its most common manifestations: inhibition, symptom, and anxiety. He also points to a paradoxical position of aversion and satisfaction (horror) regarding the emergence of unknown knowledge. We know that the therapeutic proposal Freud employed as the main clinical tool was the management of transference. We then present fragments of a treatment carried out at the Adult Clinical Care Service in Avellaneda, under the Chair of Adult Clinic 1 of the University of Buenos Aires. There, we hope to locate the emergence of knowledge and its possible therapeutic effects in the path of elucidating unconscious desire. Keywords Knowledge - Neurosis - Clinic - Transference
