Este trabajo surge del Proyecto de Investigación “El psicoanálisis, la ciudad y sus síntomas. Hacia una perspectiva de los síntomas de y en la ciudad”. Nos proponemos reflexionar sobre la violencia como un fenómeno que tiene su espacio privilegiado en el teatro de la ciudad. Partimos de una premisa: el acto violento solo adquiere sentido si lo comprendemos refiriendo a la estructura del sujeto, en función de los tres de Freud: yo, ello y superyó y los tres lacanianos: registro de lo real, lo simbólico y lo imaginario Tomamos la concepción de analista ciudadano de Eric Laurent y el tema de las pasiones. La “ciudad”, es ese escenario donde se ejercita y exhiben las pasiones violentas, pero más allá de la idea de espacio geográfico, con la referencia de diversos textos freudianos, subrayamos que la organización y estructura del inconsciente se compara con la manera en que están construidas las ciudades. La arquitectura psíquica, al igual que las ciudades conservan las marcas, las huellas del pasado, pero también al decir de Lacan, la ciudad es el espacio donde el analista puede instalarse para trabajar. Palabras clave Psicoanálisis - Violencia - Ciudad - Pasiones ABSTRACT PSYCHOANALYSIS, THE CITY AND THE PASSIONS This work arises from the Research Project “Psychoanalysis, the city, and its symptoms. towards a perspective of the symptoms of and in the city.” We propose to reflect on violence as a phenomenon that has its privileged space in the city’s theater. We start from a premise:The violent act only acquires meaning if we understand it by referring to the structure of the subject, based on Freud’s three: ego, id and superego and the Lacanian three: registration of the real, the symbolic and the imaginary. We take Eric Laurent’s conception of the citizen analyst and the theme of passions. The “city” is that setting where violent passions are exercised and exhibited, but beyond the idea of geographical space, with reference to various Freudian texts, we emphasize that the organization and structure of the unconscious is compared to the way in which cities are built. Psychic architecture, like cities, preserves the marks, the traces of the past, but also in Lacan’s words, the city is the space where the analyst can settle to work.
