El abordaje de las temáticas vinculadas al campo de la feminidad ha suscitado debates respecto a la influencia social o biológica en la constitución de una identidad femenina, a la preeminencia de uno u otro factor en el “devenir mujer” y a los efectos de diferentes discursos sobre el cuerpo. En la presente investigación, producto de un estudio cualitativo realizado en el África subsahariana durante el primer bimestre del año 2016, se propone un diálogo entre los postulados de la clásica teoría freudiana sobre el estudio de la sexualidad femenina y el material biográfico-testimonial de mujeres subsaharianas respecto a cuestiones vinculadas al campo de la feminidad, entendiéndose a esta esfera a modo de una construcción móvil y dinámica. El hilo conductor de la pesquisa se teje a partir de dos perspectivas troncales, a saber: la clásica teoría freudiana y los aportes de la autora contemporánea Judith Butler, por encontrarse en ellos puntos de discusión y contraste que han servido a la articulación con el material colectado en el campo, a fin de abonar tanto el terreno del psicoanálisis contemporáneo como el de los estudios de género. Palabras clave Feminidad, Mujeres subsaharianas, Género, Psicoanálisis, Contem- poráneo ABSTRACT THE DILEMMA OF FEMINITY IN CONTEMPORARY EAST SUB-SAHARAN WOMEN: DEVELOPMENTS AND AVATARS The approach to the issues linked to the feminity field, have aroused discussions regarding to the social or biological influence in the construction of a female identity, to the preeminence of one or other agents in the “becoming a woman” and for the purpose of different discourses about the body. In this work, product of a qualitative investigation made in Sub Saharian Africa during the first bimester of 2016, is proposed a dialogue between the classic freudian postulates about the study of female sexuality and the biographic / testimonial of sub saharian women, regarding to questions linked to the feminity sphere, being this sphere a moving and dynamic construction. The axis of this research is supported by two main perspectives: the classic freudian theory and the contributions of the contemporary author Judith Butler, because we find in those contributions points of discussion and contrasts that have functioned as an articulation with the material collected in the investigation field, with the objective of enrich as much as the contemporary psychoanalysis sphere as the gender study sphere.
