El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo desarrollar algunas reflexiones sobre el Uno en Lacan a partir de los aportes de los seminarios 19 y 20, retomando al mismo tiempo cuestiones cruciales planteadas diez años atrás, en el Seminario 9. En primer lugar, diferenciaremos el Uno de la idea filosófica de unidad para pensar el sujeto en psicoanálisis y fundamentalmente, la relación sexual. En segundo lugar, separaremos el Uno del Ser para pensar la imposibilidad de plantear una esencia en la sexualidad humana. Por último, tomaremos algunos planteos de Lacan sobre el Otro atravesados por la interrogación sobre el Uno.
