El Instituto Universitario River Plate ( IURP). Fue creado por , la Fundación Altos Estudios Club Atlético River Plate es la instancia universitaria del Club Atlético River Plate. Surge en 2006 como consecuencia lógica y natural de una extensa y exitosa trayectoria institucional íntimamente comprometida con la educación y el fortalecimiento comunitario. Con más de un siglo de vida institucional y de experiencia deportiva y 25 años invertidos en la educación, el Club Atlético River Plate comprobó y entendió que el deporte trasciende la mera actividad recreativa y práctica saludable para impactar en la sociedad, la cultura y la economía. Entidad acreditada por la CONEAU. En esta investigación se propone construir un perfil de los ingresantes, en tanto representaciones de la institución y de la carrera de Educación Física Se elaboró una encuesta estructurada que se administró a 140 alumnos, los datos están siendo procesados y permitirán una adecuada intervención académica para su permanencia en la Institución. Ademas esta investigación forma parte de un programa conjunto de investigaciones dónde se analizan diferentes aspectos como es , la Historia Institucional, Las representaciones de los alumnos y El concepto de los extranjeros para la elección del IURP.
