Este trabajo fue realizado como parte del Proyecto de Investigación PROICO 22/H807 de la Secretaría de Ciencia y Técnica de la Universidad Nacional de San Luis. El lugar de garantía, está encarnado por un articulador teórico fundamental, al que, J. Lacan llamó Nombre-del-Padre. Significante privilegiado que asume el punto de partida de toda lengua y que se instituye como soporte de la Ley en su estructura.Así, queda posicionado como el «único» garante de la Ley del Lenguaje. El Nombre-del-Padre es asociado, a la Ley simbólica que encarna; es una designación del reconocimiento de una función simbólica. Esta designación es producto de una metáfora. Plurales son los significantes de los Nombres-del-Padre y varias las paradojas que conllevan. Muchas son también las encrucijadas en las que los sujetos se sitúan a lo largo de sus vidas y diversas las respuestas que suscitan los enigmas a los que se confrontan. Recorridos con obstáculos donde impera la voz del superyó que impele al sacrificio, y que en la lógica sacrificial conduce a padecer, pagar y a gozar de más.
