Haremos propia la pregunta que enmarca este congreso: ¿Desde que instancia percibimos, entendemos y narramos el mundo en que vivimos aquellos que nos ocupamos, desde distintas disciplinas y perspectivas, del campo de la infancia y sus problemáticas? En poco más de cien años hemos afrontado la pregunta sobre el desarrollo infantil y la constitución de la subjetividad en un niño, con conjeturas y respuestas desde diversos paradigmas. Así, día a día estamos ante la necesidad de elegir alguna estrategia. Cada vez que tomamos decisiones elegimos ¿Qué incluir, que segregar? Son tiempos de medicalización, patologización, etiquetamientos y sobre diagnósticos dados a los niños y sus padres. Hoy, el campo del Autismo (DSM V, TEA) ha extendido globalmente sus fronteras cual epidemia, la discapacidad de un niño/a es certificada cual trámite burocrático acorde a derecho, las psicosis en la infancia desaparecidas. Resulta hoy difícil reconocer las diferencias entre la discapacidad, el autismo y las psicosis en la infancia ¿Que se segrega y que se incluye en este fenómeno contemporáneo?
