Los rasgos identitarios de la universidad argentina se han configurado históricamente producto de las tensiones producidas por el interjuego de tendencias políticas, económicas, sociales, culturales, regionales, provinciales, nacionales e internacionales. Producto de estas tensiones Noriega J y Montiel (2014) sostienen que ha tendido a la expansión significativa de la matrícula, la diversificación y especialización, el desarrollo de la investigación, el financiamiento unido a la evaluación, un nuevo corpus normativo y el establecimiento de alianzas estratégicas entre agencias internacionales. Intentar comprender sus rasgos identitarios nos ha llevado a indagar qué investiga la universidad cuando se toma a sí misma como objeto de estudio, en este trabajo acotaremos nuestro análisis a las investigaciones que toman como objeto de estudio a los estudiantes universitarios. Este breve recorrido nos permitió visibilizar algunos rasgos característicos y puntuar investigaciones centradas en distintos momentos de la experiencia universitaria que dan cuenta de representaciones sociales sobre la institución y las carreras, de formas particulares de habitarla así como las instancias subjetivantes que operan en los sujetos. La identidad del “estudiante universitario” delineada en las investigaciones presentadas muestran un modo de percibirlos, que orientan modos de posicionamiento de los docentes en el sostenimiento del vinculo educativo. This brief route allowed us visualize some characteristics and we can also punctuate research centered at different times of the university experience,expose social representations about the institution and their chosen careers, particular forms of inhabiting the university, as well as the instances subjectifying operating in subjects. The identity of the “university student” defined in the research presented undoubtedly show a mode of perceiving them, than to greater or lesser measure oriented positioning modes of teachers in sustaining the educational link.
