El dispositivo de taller, como espacio propicio para el advenimiento subjetivo, adquiere cada vez más relevancia en el ámbito de la reproducción médicamente asistida ya que facilita el encuentro de personas que comparten la imposibilidad de concebir naturalmente un hijo y, consecuentemente, los miedos que se producen a la hora de dar respuesta a la pregunta ¿Cómo llegué a este mundo?. El propósito del presente escrito es realizar un análisis del rol del psicólogo en el dispositivo de taller para pacientes con dificultades reproductivas, que desean revelar el origen al niño, a la luz de los aportes del psicoanálisis. Para ello nos valdremos de la experiencia que tuvo lugar en el marco de la Práctica Profesional 824: El rol del psicólogo en el ámbito de las tecnologías de reproducción humana asistida.
