El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar la investigación realizada por psicólogos residentes del Hospital General de Agudos Parmenio T. Piñero, siendo la pregunta que guía la misma la siguiente: ¿Qué dispositivos existen para el abordaje del Consumo Problemático de Sustancias en el Área Programática del Hospital Piñero en la actualidad? El obstáculo práctico a partir del cual parte esta investigación consiste en la necesidad de identificar herramientas para el abordaje de la temática del consumo problemático de sustancias. Se parte de considerar insuficiente y escasamente sistematizada la información disponible sobre los dispositivos pensados e implementados para el abordaje de esta problemática, con los consecuentes efectos de fragmentación del sistema sanitario que esto conlleva. Para los fines de la presente publicación realizamos un recorte de la información más relevante y representativa arrojada durante la investigación, considerando el análisis cualitativo de las siguientes dimensiones relevadas en las entrevistas: Caracterización de los Centros de salud y acción comunitaria y de la población del área programática del hospital Piñero, Surgimiento de los dispositivos de abordaje del consumo problemático de sustancias en el área programática, y Trabajo en red en los dispositivos de abordaje del consumo problemático de sustancias en el área programática. The motivation of this research arises from the difficulties in identifying the tools for addressing problematic substance use. The starting point is the insufficient and poorly organized information available about such devices that are commonly employed to tackle this problematic, leading to the fragmentation of the health system. For the present work, a selection of the most relevant and representative information will be presented. In particular, three of the dimensions from the interviews have been considered: Characterization of health centers and communitary action and population of the programmatic area of Piñero General Hospital; Developing of the devices for addressing problematic substance use and networking on the devices for addressing problematic substance use in the programmatic area.
