Nuestro enfoque se fundamenta en la corriente de la fenomenología y la hermenéutica que provienen de Husserl, Heidegger y Ricoeur. Utilizamos además, el aporte de otros autores contemporáneos continuadores de los pensadores nombrados. Destacamos la noción de cuerpo propio como fuente de motivos. Entendemos que la motivación implica la falta de motivación y señalamos aspectos de no motivación. Nos referimos a la relacionalidad en que se constituyen las dos instancias de tiempo y afectividad, puesto que la afectividad es reveladora del tiempo en su estructura fundamental. Si la angustia revela la estructura total del mundo, el aburrimiento revela la estructura total del tiempo.Vemos que ello conlleva el ‘mal de vivir’ que caracteriza a nuestra época.
