El trastorno llamado “Esquizofrenia”, nombre acuñado por Bleuler, se corresponde al grupo de enfermedades originalmente diferenciado por Morel y establecido por Kraepelin con el nombre de “Dementia Praecox”, es uno de los trastornos más frecuentes y problemáticos de nuestro tiempo. La nosología de Kraepelin significó un verdadero avance hace más de 100 años en el campo de las psicosis. Desde entonces hasta la fecha hay una multiplicidad de trabajos que presentan grandes discrepancias y que reflejan que a Esquizofrenia es un tipo de trastorno difícil de investigar. Las divergencias son tan amplias y desconcertantes que resulta arduo encontrar pautas coherentes para la investigación. Dicho término representa en la mayoría de los casos una convención provisoria que varía de acuerdo al sistema diagnóstico al que se remita. Es uno de los grandes conceptos de la clínica psiquiátrica clásica que se mantienen en debate en la actualidad. Interesa poner de relieve dicho debate y sus consecuencias para el diagnóstico. Palabras clave Esquizofrenia Dementia Praecox ABSTRACT Diagnosis investigation in Psychopathology: Conceptions and clinical forms of the Schizophrenic psychoses The called dysfunction “Schizophrenia”, name coined by Bleuler, belongs together to the group of illnesses originally differed by Morel and settled down by Kraepelin with the name of “Dementia Praecox”. It is one of the most frequent and problematic dysfunctions in our time. The nosology of Kraepelin meant a true advance more than 100 years ago in the field of psychoses. From then on so far there is a multiplicity of works that presents discrepancies and reflects the fact that the Schizophrenia is a dysfunction type difficult to investigate. The divergences are so wide and disconcerting that is arduous to find coherent rules for the investigation. This term represents in most of the cases, a temporary convention that varies according to the system diagnosis to witch to remits it to them. It is one of the big concepts of the classic psychiatric clinic that stay in debate al the present time. This study will be put of relief this debate and their consequences for the diagnosis.
