El presente Proyecto de Investigación se desarrolla en el marco de la Psicología Comunitaria, disciplina orientada hacia el cambio social y que sostiene la unión entre la Teoría y la Praxis. A partir de las intervenciones psicosociales que los miembros del equipo interdisciplinario realizan con grupos e instituciones de nuestro medio, se abordan aspectos relacionados con los procesos de liderazgo y fortalecimiento comunitario. La problemática de la dirigencia de Tucumán, registra en su historia una mayoría de líderes paternalistas, autoritarios, caudillos y/ o dictadores. Esto genera un tipo de relaciones rígidas y verticales donde se favorece la construcción de un ciudadano dependiente, formado en las promesas asistencialistas, que oscurecen la percepción de su propia capacidad y recursos para generar acciones transformadoras de su realidad. Objetivos generales del Proyecto: -Sistematizar, construir y transferir conocimientos teóricos, metodológicos, técnicos y éticos en relación a estos procesos para contribuir al avance científicoyaldesarrollohumano.-Describirlasrepresentaciones sociales recurrentes que tienen niños, adolescentes y adultos tucumanos sobre el liderazgo y el fortalecimiento a fin de lograr una comprensión mas profunda de estos procesos. -Lograr, a nivel de equipo de investigación, la articulación de las áreas de trabajo Universitarias: Docencia, Investigación y Extensión. Palabras clave Liderazgo Fortalecimiento ABSTRACT SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY PSYCHOLOGY: LEADERSHIP AND EMPOWERMENT The current Participative Research Project has been designed within the framework of Community Psychology (discipline that promotes social change by taking into account individual and community development and that aims at the combination of praxis and theory). The aims of this Research Project emerged as the result of the team members´ scope of research interest which derives from their individual social interactions with different local groups and institutions The contributions of this Research Project will help us all understand aspects of the Leadership Issue in Tucumán. Throughout the history of this province, there have been a number of authoritarian and paternalist leadersl. This, of course, hinders communal participation, vertical and rigid relations become pre-eminent as well as dependant citizens who rely mainly on an individual-based education. The general goals are: -To systematize, build and transfer theoretical, methodological, technical and ethical knowledge in connection to Leadership and Community Empowerment processes in order to contribute to scientific advance and human development - To describe the recurrent social representations that children, adolescents and adults from Tucumán have on Leadership and Community Empowerment so as to acquire a better understanding of the processes previously mentioned. -To attain an articulation of the three fields of University activities: Teaching, Research and Community Work.
