El presente trabajo corresponde a un proyecto realizado en colaboración con el Área de Investigación del Hospital Neuropsiquiátrico de la provincia de Córdoba, orientado a indagar la asociación entre malestar psicológico y cambios sociolaborales en sujetos en situación de pobreza. A su vez, analizar la relación entre vulnerabilidad, apoyo social, eventos estresantes, afrontamiento, y malestar psicológico, a fin de visualizar las situaciones que brindan sostén y protección y las que generan vivencias de malestar. Se presentan los resultados obtenidos en una muestra de 300 personas de población general y 159 de población con NBI, mayores de 18 años de ambos sexos. Los datos indican que cuanto mayor vulnerabilidad política mayor malestar psicológico y es la variable con mayor incidencia en el malestar psicológico. Hay mayor malestar y sentimiento de miedo en las mujeres que en los varones, siendo mayor en la población vulnerable. Las mujeres pobres, son las que más apelan al apoyo comunitario y al apoyo en las organizaciones. La preocupación por el futuro es el problema más relevante, siguiéndole la falta de trabajo y dificultades económicas. Comparando con evaluaciones anteriores han aumentado el malestar psicológico ylos afrontamientos negativos (depresión, conformismo y disgusto con la familia). Palabras clave Malestar Vulnerabilidad Apoyo Afrontamiento ABSTRACT POLITICAL VULNERABILITY IN WOMEN AND MEN OF CORDOBA CITY The present work corresponds to a project orientated to inquire about the association between psychological uneasiness and socio-laboral changes in subjetcts in situation of poverty. At the same time, it intends to inquire about the relation between vulnerability, social support, estressant events, confrotation and psychologicl malaise with the purpose of having a clear vision of the situations that offer support and protection and those that generate experiencies of unearsiness. Then, the results obtained in a sample of 300 persons of general population and 159 in situation of poverty elder than 18 years of both sexes are presented. This information shows that, as greater is the political vulnerability, psychological malaise increase and it is the variation that has a greater incidence on the psychological malaise. The sentiment of restlessnss and fear is grater between women than between men being even more evident in vulnerable people. Poor women are who most appeal both to comunitary help and that or organitations. The preocupation about their future is their most relevant problem. In the second place are: the want of work and economic difficulties. Comparing this evaluation with former others, appears that: psychological malaise and negative confrontations have increased (depression, resignation and disgust with the family).
