Este trabajo se enmarca en la investigación UBACyT “Versiones del padre en el último período de la obra de Jacques Lacan” (19711981). Se tratará de ubicar diferentes funciones del padre a partir de la lectura del Seminario R.S.I. (LACAN 1974-75) a la luz de la distinción propuesta entre los conceptos de nominación y dar nombre. Diferenciamos allí dos funciones del padre: el Padre del Nombre o padre como nombrante ligado a las nociones de agujero, torbellino y S1 y los Nombres del Padre: inhibición, síntoma y angustia como nominaciones propias de las neurosis.A partir de este recorrido adquiere nuevas aristas aquella formulación lacaniana respecto de lo que llama la “boludez religiosa” de Freud que, creemos arroja nuevas interpretaciones a la luz de la época y la experiencia analítica. We differentiate there two functions of the father: the Father of the Name or father as nombrante ligature to the notions of hole, whirlwind and S1 and the Names of the Father: inhibition, symptom and distress like own nominations of the neurosises. From this tour he acquires new edges that formulation lacaniana respect of what calls “religious stupidiy” of Freud that, we believe throws new interpretations in the light of the time and the analytical experience.
