Para el análisis del concepto de diversidad en el discurso educativo, se tomarán como referentes los estatutos fundacionales de las universidades públicas argentinas con sus respectivas fuentes documentales. Se realizará un recorrido acerca de: los distintos significados del concepto de diversidad, la multiplicidad de temas que se relacionan con el mismo y de los antecedentes históricos de su inclusión en las agendas educativas. Adentrarse en ese tema en el ámbito educativo nos permitirá apreciar las distintas implicancias según el contexto, situación y circunstancias. Y nos propone el desafío de analizar críticamente los objetivos de cada propuesta, para evaluar si se relacionan o no con la realidad social y cultural de la comunidad a la que pertenece la institución educativa. Hay en nuestra sociedad un cierto consenso respecto de que no respetar lo diverso significaría encontrarnos con variadas formas de injusticia. En el presente trabajo se hará un recorrido por los distintos programas educativos propuestos por instituciones universitarias en haras del respeto por la diversidad en el marco de una educación por la inclusión. The various meanings of the concept of diversity, multiplicity of issues that relate to the same historical background and its inclusion in educational agendas: a tour will be held on. Exploring this issue in education allow us to appreciate the different implications depending on the context, situation and circumstances. And we proposed the challenge to critically analyze the objectives of each proposal to assess whether or not they relate to the social and cultural reality of the community to which the school belongs.There are some in our society consensus that would not respect the diverse meet various forms of injustice. In this paper we will tour the various educational programs offered by universities which include respect for diversity in the context of education for inclusion.
