El presente trabajo es un estudio descriptivo y exploratorio sobre la integración del estudiante a la vida universitaria. Se trata de un trabajo que ofrece un análisis sobre el espacio de ingreso como agente socializador en el proceso de formación de actitudes y valores en los estudiantes que ingresan a la carrera de Psicología en la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán. El espacio de ingreso, denominado Integración Universitaria, se estructura alrededor de dos ejes: el de ambientación, y el académico. Por un lado, se posibilita la integración social, a través de las relaciones y vínculos que se establece con compañeros y Coordinadores y por otro lado, al constituir la primera materia del plan de estudio de la carrera, permite la integración académica pues, posibilita articular el nivel educativo previo y las exigencias requeridas en el nivel superior.
