En el presente trabajo nos proponemos indagar las formas en que fueron postuladas las cuestiones referidas a la subjetividad del analista para que la operación analítica como tal pueda producirse.Para eso haremos un recorrido por los distintos conceptos analíticos que hicieron hincapié en esa subjetividad del analista. Un recorrido que comienza con la neutralidad analítica, continúa por la contratransferencia postfreudiana y culmina con la postulación lacaniana del concepto de deseo del analista. Es de nuestro interés cernir aquello que de la subjetividad del analista concierne a la operación que dirige: el análisis. Acaso esta preocupación central por la “pureza del alma del operador” sea uno de los mayores rasgos distintivos del psicoanálisis respecto de otros discursos. Palabras clave Deseo del analista, Contratransferencia, Neutralidad ABSTRACT NOTES ABOUT THE PURITY OF THE SOUL The aim of this paper is to investigate the ways the issues regarding the analyst’s subjectivity to the analytic operation itself may occur were postulated. In order to do so, we will review several analytical concepts that emphasized the subjectivity of the analyst. A path that begins with the Freudian analytic neutrality, proceeds to postFreudian countertransference and ends with the application of the Lacanian concept of desire of the analyst. It’s our interest to indicate in what way the analyst’s subjectivity concerns the operation he directs: the analysis. Perhaps this central concern about the “purity of soul´s operator” is one of the major hallmarks of psychoanalysis from other discourses.
